Piotr Pławner

Piotr Pławner - 10th International Wieniawski Competition 1991.

Graduate of the Academy of Music in Łódź, where he studied in Professor Zenon Płoszaj's class, Piotr Pławner (b. 1974), was later a student at the master class held by Professor Igor Ozim in Bern. In1995 he won International ARD Competition in Munich. He is very active as soloist and chamber musician in Europe and America. Has made several CD recordings, as well as ones for radio and television. His record of Karol Szymanowski's chamber pieces was awarded the "Record of the Year 1998" prize by the music magazine "Studio".
