Jarosław Nadrzycki (b. 1984) is the graduate of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where he studied with Jadwiga Kaliszewska. He also studied with Igor Ozim at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and with Igor Petrushevski at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He made his debut at the age of twelve in Pablo Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy, performed with the Tchaikovsky Conservatory Orchestra at the Conservatory's Grand Hall in Moscow. He is the prizewinner of several prestigious international competitions. including the Aram Khachaturian Competition in Yerevan (where one of the prizes was a concert with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev), the George Enescu Competition in Bucharest, the Max Rostal Competition in Berlin, the Jascha Heifetz Competition in Vilnius, the 'Valesia Musica' Competition in Varallo, Italy, and the Haverhill Sinfonia Soloist Competition in the UK. He received awards at the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poznań (2001, 2006). He is also the prizewinner of the Tibor Varga Competition in Martigny, Switzerland (twice) and the Benjamin Britten Competition in London.

Recent highlights in his career have included the performance of Krzysztof Penderecki's Second Violin Concerto 'Metamorphosen' with the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela conducted by the composer (2010, Caracas) and the concert in Armenia with the Youth State Orchestra conducted by Maxim Vengerov (2011).
Jarosław Nadrzycki has also performed with such ensembles as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London, the Symphonisches Orchester in Zürich, the Hamburger Philharmoniker, the Transylvania State Philharmonic, the George Enescu Philharmonic, the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and numerous Polish orchestras (including Polish Radio's 'Amadeus' Chamber Orchestra).
For several years he held scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Polish Children's Fund.
In 2001, he received the Father Piotr Wawrzyniak Prize in the 'Region' Upcoming Talent' category and was awarded the Young Art Medal by the 'Głos Wielkopolski' daily in Poznań. His first CD, 'Carmen Fantasie', was recorded in the same year. In 2002, in recognition of his artistic achievements, he was conferred the 2001 'Żagań Citizen' title.
Foreign tours have taken him to several European countries, both Americas and South Korea. He has performed in such prestigious venues as the Cadogan Hall, St. John's Smith Square and Wigmore Hall in London, the Ateneum in Bucharest, the Khachaturian Philharmonic Hall in Yerevan, the Grand Halls of St. Petersburg and Moscow Conservatories and the Simon Bolivar Hall in Venezuela. He has also played at the Kremlin and in the Polish embassies in Moscow and Brussels. His recordings have been broadcast by numerous European radio and television stations, including Mezzo TV, TV ORF Austria, TV Montenegro, TVR Romania and Polish TVP (Kultura Channel).
Jarosław Nadrzycki is represented by the Artist Management Department of the Ludwig van Beethoven Society.
